Angus Coach In Service

The first coach in service of 2009 within the East Region is taking place on 31st January at Pitskelly Park Carnoustie. The course is being delivered by Gordon Craig from Coerver Coaching Scotland and attendance on the course is free of charge.

Under 10's conduct training with a difference

Saturday Dec 13th the U10’s (1999) conducted training with a difference, following on from the introduction of some new drills which were enjoyed by all in the muddy conditions we all headed through to the mega-bowl for 2 games of bowling followed by a Burger King.

Kirrie Youth FC receives SFA Award Mark

Kirriemuir Youth were one of 11 East Region Youth Football Clubs who have been recognised for their valuable contribution to grassroots football.

Under 17's Scotland Squad

Johnathan Watson and Sam Christie of the under 17s have been selected to represent Scotland in the Home international championship been held in Newcastle in May/June 2009.

KYFC 7-a-side teams fixtures

Winter Shutdown. The 7-a-side teams have all requested that this weeks game (30th November) be the last games played this year. Games will resume again on 1st March 2009.

Conditions were perfect in Arbroath for a game of football, and Kirrie started the brighter of the two teams.

The match started at a frantic pace with the home side taking the lead after 4 minutes.  Within a minute of the restart however Kirrie equalised through Ferguson with a fantastic run and shot.
